Scared to go short?
Brooklyn Decker is such a good example of how sophisticated and stylish someone with long hair can look if they are brave enough to take the chop. I feel like this new hair is going to change her career, she always looked so "girl next door" and is probably trying to move on from her young days as a bikini model and move towards a serious acting career. Now don't get me wrong, I by no means am a "scissor happy" stylist. I dont encourage client's to cut their hair off unless they ask and I try to listen to how many inches people want off so no one leaves unhappy and short. But this is a great photo to bring in if you are long and layered, looking for a change, but scared! The key here is that the cut is a one-length blunt shape, with the perfect amount of light loose layers. Another factor to ALWAYS consider as you bring in photos of haircuts; have you ever brought in a photo that wasn't colored? Probably not. This cut relies on proper highlight placement to accentuate the cut. I believe 100% of my clients should have some form of highlighting on their haircut. Also, can we just end on how perfect her color is??
