Sectioning Clips for blowdrying

Sectioning Clips for blowdrying

Clients ask me all the time for tips on round brushing their hair so they don't have to rely on hot tools. I have a few good tips that may help you out! Tip #1. Almost get the hair dry, about 80% of the moisture out of the hair dry, before you attempt to take a brush to it. Style doesn't set in when the hair is wet so you'll be needlessly pulling on and stressing out your hair. Tip #2. Utilize youtube tutorials and practice with the air totally off at first, then with cool air once you get a little better. Gaining this dexterity is like riding a bike. Once you have it its your for life! Practice really makes perfect. Tip #3. Very important. Use strong sectioning clips to stay organized! You'll notice even when I blow dry hair in the salon I separate just the piece I'm working on so nothing gets tangled. A set of strong, professional 'Alligator Clips' is the way to go. They are really strong!
